Who we are
This website is run by GEVE Intelligence AB, trading as geve, company registration number 559553-5203, Torsgatan 1, 111 23 Stockholm, Sweden (“geve”, “we”).
For anything about privacy or security, write to hello@geve.ai. We answer within one month, usually much sooner.
This website
For visitors to geve.ai, we are the controller of your personal data.
- When you contact us
- Your name, work email, company (optional) and message. We use them only to answer you and to discuss working together. The form passes your message to our email at Google Workspace, which also sends you a confirmation. Google may process it outside the EU, protected by the EU's standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). We keep them for 12 months after our last contact, then delete them, unless you become a customer.
- When you visit
- Our hosting providers briefly process technical information to deliver and protect the website.
- Visit statistics
- We use PostHog to understand how the website is used. With your consent, we also use cookies and recordings of clicks and scrolling. What you type is not recorded. You can change your choice at any time.
- What we don't do
- We don't use advertising or social-media trackers, we don't build advertising profiles, and we never sell personal data. Our fonts and films are served from our own site.
When we work for you
You decide how your customer data is used. We process it only on your instructions.
- We process personal data only to do the work you ask of us, never for our own purposes.
- We only read what the task needs. A coworker that answers booking emails sees those emails, nothing else.
- Data is kept only as long as the agreement says, and deleted or returned when it ends.
- We help you answer requests from the people whose data it is, and with impact assessments when you need one.
- If you ask for EU data residency, your data stays in the EU. Otherwise, data that leaves the EU/EEA is protected by the EU's standard contractual clauses.
If you are a customer of one of our clients and want to use your rights, contact that business. We'll help them answer you.
AI and human control
Our coworkers use AI language models to read, sort and draft. A person always reviews the work before anything is sent, and no decision with legal or similarly significant effect on anyone is made by AI alone.
Where AI talks to people directly, it says so, as the EU AI Act requires. The AI providers we use don't train their models on your data.
Sub-processors
We use a small number of carefully chosen providers.
The full list is available on request.
Customers are told before we add or replace a sub-processor, and can object.
Security
- EncryptedAll traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), and stored data is encrypted at rest.
- Least accessAccess is limited to authorised people and systems, with multi-factor sign-in.
- Isolated per customerEach customer's data is kept apart from every other customer's.
- Backups and recoveryDatabases are backed up automatically.
- IncidentsIf a breach affects your data, we tell you without undue delay, so the authority can be notified within 72 hours where required.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- limit how we use it
- give it to you in a portable format
- stop using it, where we rely on legitimate interest
Write to hello@geve.ai. It's free, and we answer within one month. If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the authority where you live.
Changes and contact
When we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top. Customers are told in advance about changes that affect them.
